The PAMA symposium is designed to meet the research and practice needs of physicians, therapists, athletic trainers, educators, artistic directors, and other health care and performing arts professionals who seek to improve the well-being of performing artists.

Nation's Leaders in Health Care for Musicians Gather @ 3 Day Summit
The no-cost, invitation-only Summit on Health Care Coverage and Access for Musicians, March 4 - 6, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA is an invitation-only networking event on best practices for regional and national nonprofit organizations which assist musicians in accessing health care coverage and services. Susan Arjmand, MD, long time PAMA member, was an invited speaker for the annual seminar of the Central States Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association in Naperville Il. This is an annual meeting that draws physicians and nurses from the central Midwest states. The topic was Introduction to Performing Arts Medicine for Occupational Medicine Clinicians.
PAMA Members Sang-Hie Lee, PhD and Merry Lynn Morris, MFA, PhD have published a book titled Perspectives in Performing Arts Medicine Practice: A Multidisciplinary Approach. The book is scheduled to be available on April 14, 2020. You can pre-order this book by clicking this link.
